NEW PATIENTS

SERVICES WE PROVIDE

We are able to provide services to deal with a range of issues, including -

  • Memory Issues

  • Dementia

  • Mobility Issues

  • Parkinson’s symptoms

  • Strokes

  • Palliative Care

  • Issues with balance and increased occurrence of falls

  • Pain management

Please consult with your GP first of all, as we require a GP referral for all new cases.

*PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS ON HOPSITALS, DIRECT/RE-ADMISSIONS HAVE BECOME INCREASING DIFFICULT TO FACILITATE. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMODATE YOUR NEEDS.

PRIVATE PATIENTS - EXISTING

I have been commenced on a new medication.
I feel worse.  Can I stop the medication?

Call our office and we will run this by your Consultant Physician and get back to you promptly.

I feel unwell since my discharge.
Can I come back into hospital?

We can generally arrange re-admission* providing beds are available.
Call our office and we will run this by your Consultant and get back to you promptly.

I’m not due to see my Doctor for some time.
Can I see them sooner?

Cancellations may be available. Call our office staff to be added to our Cancellation list.

I’m in pain and the medication is not working.
Can I have something stronger?

Call our office and we will run this by your Physician and get back to you promptly.
We may suggest involvement of your GP in this question.

My medication is running out and I don’t have any more prescriptions. Will the Doctor provide a script?

First consult your GP for scripts for General medication.

For Specialised medication ordered by the Physician, we will be able to organise a script for you. A small fee may be required by some Consultants.

My relative has had a fall and now has issues walking.
What should I do?

Call to discuss with our Clinical Staff - They will advise you after consultation with your Physician

My relative is not eating or drinking. What should I do?

My relative is really confused, much more than usual.
What should I do?

Call to discuss with our Clinical Staff - They will advise you after consultation with your Physician.

My relative is not doing well following their discharge.
They need to go back in for “respite”. Can you help?

Call to discuss with our Clinical Staff - They will advise you after consultation with your Physician. Most hospitals will not admit patients for respite (there are other options for this) but if there is a clinical condition, Admission may be the best option.
